Long Term Addiction Rehab for Women
Located in southern New Jersey, in rural Cumberland County, Bridgeton, NJ, the Seabrook House Changes4Women program provides a long term rehab (LTR) opportunity for up to 11 female residents recovering from alcoholism, chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. The facility is located on the Seabrook House main campus and consists of a five-bedroom main house and a three-bedroom cottage. Clinical services, meals and wellness all take place on the main 40 acre Seabrook campus.
The Benefits of Long Term Rehab For Women
The Changes4Women program is designed for chronic relapsers, licensed professionals, executives and those with a history of multiple treatments. It’s an excellent opportunity for women in treatment for the first time who want to address the addiction head on to reduce the risk of relapse.
The program provides a minimum 12-month long-term rehab program for women in early recovery. A minimum commitment for a six-month length of stay is required. Length of stay is determined by each resident’s individual progress. The facility features both private and semi-private accommodations in the newly renovated house and cottages. The program is designed to immerse each woman into a 12-step way of life, while providing the basic rehab support of counseling, housing, and recreation.
The Changes4Women program includes:
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Equine therapy
- Music therapy
- Outdoor adventure based “ropes” course
In addition, a 4,000 square foot state-of-the-art wellness center provides a separate cardio room with cable TV, weight room, meditation room, and a game room with a lounge. The program also provides a certified personal trainer and nutritional counseling. Residents have internet and WiFi access and may bring cell phones (restricted in Phase 1), and portable music players. All meals are prepared by a premier chef, and served in a private dining room.
The Changes4Women program allows for outside activities to introduce the idea of sober fun. The campus is situated in close proximity to Philadelphia and Cape May, NJ. The facility is located near beautiful state parks and beaches for the residents to visit.
The women attend other off-campus events, including:
- The ballet
- Kayaking trips
- Dinners out
- Movie nights
- Pottery classes
- Biweekly community service projects
The women also attend outside lectures on self help and recovery and participate in both on- and off-campus 12-step meetings. The residents are permitted to visit healthcare providers in the area.
About Our Extended Care Drug and Alcohol Rehab for Women
The program provides a multi-phase step-down for independent living and immersion into a 12-step recovery process. During free time, residents establish a sober support system in the community by attending local self-help meetings. Referrals may come directly from Seabrook House’s five-week primary rehab program or any other addiction treatment facility throughout the United States.
Some health insurance plans with out-of-network benefits will cover fees for clinical services. All medical, psychiatric and room and board services are not included and are the responsibility of each resident to pay for out of pocket. Prescription medications are also not included and are the responsibility of each resident. Fee: $27,500 for 90 days (subject to change).
Family visitation and participation is encouraged. Seabrook House offers a family education program at the main campus beginning Friday night and ending Saturday afternoon. Visitation is on Saturday only and must be pre-approved by the staff for anyone to visit our 90-day rehab for women.
