Located north of the Susquehanna valley, in beautiful Tioga County, Central Pennsylvania, Seabrook House West provides a drug rehab extended care/transitional living opportunity for up to 28 male residents ages twenty-one (21) or older, recovering from alcoholism, chemical dependency and other compulsive disorders. Those under the age of 21 will be considered only after evaluation for appropriateness. The program is designed for chronic relapsers, licensed professionals, executives and those with a history of multiple treatments. The typical resident has had previous treatment and many of the top quality rehab programs throughout the nation. Yet, they just don’t stay stopped! Seabrook House West, is licensed by the Pennsylvania (PA) Department of Health to operate as an Inpatient Non-Hospital Drug Free Transitional Living Facility, license #597026. In 2010, Seabrook West voluntarily sought and received accreditation status through CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Our program satisfied each of the CARF Accreditation Conditions and demonstrated substantial conformance to the behavioral health quality standards. As a result, Seabrook West was awarded a Three-Year Accreditation status as a residential addiction treatment program, the highest ranking available. The facility features high end accommodations and amenities typically found in 5 star bed and breakfasts. We understand that it is not just nice accommodations that assist in early recovery but we are fortunate to have both an excellent clinical program and luxurious surroundings. The main building consists of a 9,000 sq. ft. Colonial Revival mansion built in 1937 with marble and original hardwood floors. It is situated on 14 acres of rolling hills, hiking trails and manicured gardens with a detached two-story residence with an additional 10,000 square feet of living space. On site recreation includes cardio workout room, weight room and fitness center, skiing/snow boarding, basketball, volleyball, soccer, ping pong room, a fleet of mountain bikes, hiking, horseshoes, and a large fire pit for evenings around a camp fire in the middle of a brick courtyard. Accommodations offer private rooms with queen size beds, private baths, cable television, weight-lifting facilities, a 1,600 sq .ft. media and game room, Internet access and WiFi throughout. The program provides a minimum 90 day rehab, 3 phase step-down for independent living and immersion into a 12 step recovery process. During free time, residents establish a sober support system in the community by attending local self help meetings. Referrals may come directly from Seabrook House’s 5 week primary rehab program or any other addiction treatment facility throughout the United States. Fee: $9,066 per month* for the first three (3) months, then $8,500 per month thereafter. Transportation is available from the Elmira Corning Regional Airport (ELM) which is located less than a 45 minute drive from the facility in Westfield, PA.
