Located in southern New Jersey, in rural Cumberland County, Bridgeton, NJ, the Seabrook House Changes4Women provides a long term rehab opportunity for up to 37 female residents recovering from alcoholism, chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. The facility is located on the Seabrook House main campus and consist of an 8,000 sq.ft. mansion, a 6,000 sq. ft. residence hall (East Hall), two residence cottages and a Wellness Center located in the 42,000 square foot Recovery Center.
Long Term Rehab For Women
The program is designed for chronic relapsers, licensed professionals, executives and those with a history of multiple treatments. The program provides a minimum 90 day long term rehab program for women in early recovery, however, a 6 – 12 month length of stay is recommended. Length of stay is determined by each resident’s individual progress. The facility features both private and semi-private accommodations in the newly renovated East Hall, as well as two separate cottages. The program is designed to immerse each woman into a 12 Step way of life, while providing the basic rehab support of counseling, housing and recreation.
The program offers group therapy, individual therapy, EMDR, Equine therapy, Yoga, meditation, massage, acupuncture, music therapy, outdoor adventure based “ropes” course. In addition, an 8,000 sq. ft. state of the art wellness center provides a separate cardio room with cable TV, weight room, meditation room, and a game room with lounge.
Extended Care Drug and Alcohol Rehab for Women
Health insurance does not cover this program which provides access to medical services and medications. All medical and psychiatric services are not included and are the responsibility of each resident to pay for out of pocket. Prescription medications are also not included and are the responsibility of each resident.
Addiction Treatment Services Family Program
Family visitation and participation is encouraged. Seabrook House offers a Family Education Program at the main campus beginning Friday night and ending Saturday afternoon. Visitation is on Saturdays only and must be pre-approved by the staff for anyone to visit our 90 day rehab for women.
