UCF Bans Greek Activity After Issues with Alcohol

The University of Central Florida has decided to ban most fraternity and sorority activities after recent incidents involving alcohol and hazing problems. A statement released by the university said that recent events show that the school’s Greek communities need to change their culture when it comes to the use of alcohol and the acceptance of hazing. Hazing has been talked about in Florida ever since 2011 when a student from Florida A&M died after a horrific hazing ceremony in a bus.
