After 38 years of treating individuals for alcohol and drug addiction on an inpatient basis, Seabrook House is now expanding its treatment offerings to include two outpatient centers in Cherry Hill, NJ and Northfield, NJ in Atlantic County.
The Cherry Hill location is within a short distance of the emerging Medical Mile, which is home to many heath care facilities including Virtua Voorhees.
“With this expansion, we will be able to help more people achieve sobriety than ever before,” Seabrook House President Edward M. Diehl said. “We want families who are suffering from the disease of addiction to know that treatment works. All it takes is the courage to make that first step toward recovery.”
Seabrook House’s outpatient program is designed for those who need addiction treatment but choose to live at home, and for those who are coming out of an inpatient rehabilitation center and need additional care.
The opening of the outpatient centers enhances Seabrook House’s continuum of care, which also includes a 30-day inpatient rehabilitation program; and two extended care programs – Seabrook House West, a transitional living program for men in north central Pennsylvania, and Changes for Women, a transitional living program for women on Seabrook’s main campus.
The outpatient centers will be operating under the name SHARE Counseling Services to ensure patients’ confidentiality.
The Cherry Hill office will be located at 1930 Marlton Pike East (Route 70), Suite O. The Northfield office will be located at 2111 New Road, Suite 101. Both are scheduled to open in July. Outpatient treatment is also offered at Seabrook’s main campus at 133 Polk Lane in Bridgeton. Some insurances will be accepted.
