New Jersey Dirty Drug Cop Sentenced to 10 Years

A judge has recently sentenced a convicted dirty cop from Camden, New Jersey to 10 years of prison after he was convicted of drug-related corruption. The police officer was found guilty of stealing drugs and cash from police and criminals, perjury in front of a grand jury, and planting evidence in police investigations. The officer had been a member of an elite anti-drug squad before his disgrace and conviction. Three other members of the drug squad face sentencing, sources say. The presiding judge said that the dirty cops had “had shattered the community trust” in the police.
